Changing weather conditions are an issue for us all. Winters are predicted to be wetter and wilder. Summers are predicted to be warmer. What about Spring and Autumn?

The Weather Watch Challenge is your opportunity to monitor these changes and see what the weather is like all over Scotland on one particular day.

At 11:30am on 20th or 27th March 2007 primary schools in Scotland were invited to participate in the Weather Watch Challenge by measuring cloud cover and temperature and recording these findings onto this web site. As these results are recorded the web site will show a regularlly updated map of the recorded observations.

If your school can commit to do some follow-up with this project next year then you will be eligible to enter our prize draw to win free science boxes. Please Contact Us for further information.

Before you start you may want to view the System Requirements section.

A range of Useful Links are also available and if you have any questions please do not hestitate to Contact Us.

On the right hand side you will see a list of commonly used icons that are used throughout the Weather Watch Scotland web site.
